Real-Time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP)

RTCP provides "control" for an ▲RTP session. In particular, it allows devices to exchanges information about the quality of the media session, including such information as jitter, packet loss, and a host of other statistics. RTCP is specified within the RTP standard.
