Unicode
Unicode is the international standard for character coding. It is similar to ASCII for the basic alphabet used in the United States and other English-speaking countries. Unicode, however, includes characters from every spoken (and some dead) languages on Earth. Please note that this table assumes your browser will properly render the Unicode characters. Where the character cannot be properly rendered, you may see a blank, square, a square with digits inside that match the Unicode value, or other placeholder character.
